Of Mice and Men explores a close friendship in the face of adversity - the complex bond between two migrant workers, Lennie and George, who roam about the state looking for work in the mid -West of America during the great depression of the 1930's. Lennie is a man with the strength of two, but with the mind of a child, whose whole world centres around George, his guide and protector.
The themes of loneliness, unfulfilled dreams and racism, are explored, as we tell a classic story simply, transforming this classic of American literature into a gripping and emotional theatre experience, with a talented cast and sparkling script.
Using a new adaptation by British playwright Roger Parsley we open it to a new audience.
