Shiro is a little white dog. A dog who is very fond of his owner.
One day, as he sees Miss Sakura, his owner, again struggling to make ends meet, Shiro decides to repay her kindness to him - and presents her with a wonderful gift.
However, the noisy, nosy, nasty next door sour plum of a neighbour, Umiko, finds out and decides she must have the same, and more. So she persuades Sakura to loan her the dog and tries to force little Shiro to give her a reward too.
Will the neighbour’s greed and cruelty be rewarded or punished? And what will happen to Little Shiro?
A wonderful Japanese Folk Tale transformed with I Theatre’s special touch to create a truly magical story of friendship, generosity, selfishness - showing us that true generosity will always be rewarded, but selfishness and greed will lead to nothing but grief.
Little Shiro is an example to us all!
